- Weird Metronome - This is a program that acts as a metronome, displaying a blinker and using your computer's speakers to play its beat. This program is free. Kit really likes this one.
- Rock Box - This is an open source replacement firmware for mp3 players. It runs on a number of different models. You can basically turn your iPod or other mp3 player into a metronome. This is a little more involved and probably not a good idea if you are not very technically inclined. This program is free. Leonard got this to work on his iPod.
